Craft Council of Karnataka is a registered non- profit craft center which runs with the objective of preserving crafts and thereby offering the craftsmen a standard quality of life. Craft Council of Karnataka has its headquarter in Madras and apart from Madras and Karnataka, it operates in four other Indian states like Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
The Craft Council of Karnataka functions with the goal of ensuring good crafts sell, ensuring good quality products, assuring the crafts men that they will surely get a fair price for their creations and helping the crafts men and their family members to pursue a career in the same field. And in order to achieve this state, the Craft Council of Karnataka follows certain steps and programmes like supplying raw material to the crafts men at reasonable rates, providing the best tools, community building programmes, helping the craftsmen with innovative product designs, conducting market surveys and most importantly contacting the sales persons or buyers or people who arrange exhibitions for the promotion of crafts in India.
