Jet Airways was set up by Naresh Goyal. 80% of the share of Jet Airways is owned by the founder Naresh Goyal and the remaining 20% share of Jet Airways is owned by the public as they fall in the public share category. Jet Airways, along with Air Sahara are the only two privately owned airlines which were able to survive the tough competition in the aviation sector of India in the year of 1990.
